IT/Technology Oct 04, 2017 Post Date c Requisition # Apply for Job Share this Job Sign Up for Job Alerts Role Title: Oracle FMW (Fusion Middleware) Support Analyst Location: Newbury, Berkshire Reference: c Role Profile: The Oracle FMW (Fusion Middleware) Support Analyst is part of a team providing Level 2 / 2nd Line Support on the Oracle FMW (Fusion Middleware) application. NewCo is one of the most vital projects for Vodafone UKs Mobile business processes starting from Customer Provisioning, Billing, Customer Care, Mediation and identity Management. The NewCo Level 2 team is a part of the Vodafone Technology Shared Service Centre (TSSC) with a presence both onsite at Newbury and offshore at Pune India to deliver the service. The Oracle FMW (Fusion Middleware) Support Analyst will form part of a team onsite responsible for Level 2 support (Issue analysis, Deployments, Support delivery function, Problem management and Major Incident resolution) of all the NewCo systems to ensure smooth & fault free operation of Vodafones mobile operation with maximum customer satisfaction. Key Accountabilities: * Level 2 support consisting of Oracle FMW (Fusion Middleware) * Ensure Service availability of Oracle FMW and quick restoration if service. * Oracle FMW consists of AIA, OSB,SOA and OHS servers. * Stake holders Management (Onsite Service owners, offshore service delivery teams and Delivery support owners) including reporting & escalation * Plan & implement Service improvements & Automation * Delivery of FMW BAU and aware of order management and Critical services integration (Out of box). * Ready to work under major incident situation and explaining customers with all information clearly Essential: * Experience providing Level 2 Support to Apps application * Design and build highly scalable and available Web Services backbone for the organisation. * Implement monitoring tools and techniques for Fusion Middleware components, particularly SOA and OSB services. * Hands-on Design, Build, deployment and support all different components of Oracle Fusion Middleware ( SOA, AIA, OSB, BPM, ODI, including the WebLogic App server and related Oracle Database). * Support multiple integration projects in the middleware space, troubleshooting middle-tier issues and assisting developers on infrastructure related issues. * Order orchestration and AABC implementation and support experience. * Provide on-site support to users during the cutover of services, if/when needed. * Performance test planning & execution and tuning of Fusion Middleware products, including WebLogic, SOA, JRockit and Coherence. * Hands-on admin and configuration for multiple WebLogic domains supporting full SDLC for several projects. * Hands-on Installation of new middleware software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches and resolve middleware software related problems. * Telecom domain background is must.
