Creating Better Futures', and demonstrate their core values. Two key appointments in the new structure are Planning Managers for our Birmingham and London offices.
As a Planning Manager, you will be responsible for managing the planning activities of projects to support the regional strategy. This will involve, preparing and implementing the planning strategies for existing sites within the region, ensuring effective progress reporting and budget management.
Critical aspects of the role are also identifying search areas for new opportunities within the region as well as preparing and assisting in all elements of planning for bids and acquisitions.
From day one, you will establish rapport with key external stakeholders and third parties supporting negotiations. Passionate about delivering excellence, you will work collaboratively across the region with a range of functional teams to support the regional strategy.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements for the role include:
Experience of managing a range of planning promotion projects
Experience of managing external consultants and negotiating with third party stakeholders
An ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal & external stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
The ability to manage your professional network in order to maximise its' potential
Experience gained in a commercial planning environment
MRTPI with post qualification practising experience
