role summary

Help lead the Audit and Assurance Policy (AAP) Team.
Work on rules and policies about audits and ethics.
Give expert advice to colleagues and outside groups.
Make sure the team uses new technology well.
Stand in for the Director when needed.
Lead projects and keep work quality high.

key tasks

Manage all parts of audit ethics rules.
Develop plans and strategies for the team.
Work with UK and international groups on audit rules.
Support and manage AAP team projects.
Talk to audit firms, regulators, and teams on ideas and updates.
Help others understand and use audit policies.

skills and experience

Have a CCAB accounting qualification.
Know UK and international audit rules well.
Lead teams and manage projects confidently.
Be good at speaking, writing, and working with others.
Understand new tools and technology for auditing.
Solve problems and create new ideas.
Be enthusiastic about improving audits.
