role summary

Help keep buildings safe and working well in Buckley area.
Support the Facilities team in North East Wales.
Check health and safety and help with building repairs.
Drive electric vehicles between sites, so you need a UK driving licence.

Make sure the workplace is safe for staff, visitors, and contractors.
Give good customer service and improve how things are done.
Carry out health and safety checks.
Work fairly with others and follow equal opportunities rules.
Help with other reasonable tasks for the job.

skills and experience

A Level 3 qualification in Facilities Management or similar is good to have.
Know health and safety laws well, especially the Health & Safety at Work Act.
Experience with managing building repairs and contractors.
Good at organising, talking to people and working under pressure.
Can use computers and enter data accurately.
Basic Welsh language skills (A1 level) are needed or you can learn on the job.

£ pay and hours

You will be part of the Civil Service pension scheme with good employer payments.
28 days of holiday a year, which can go up to 33 days.

location and workplace

Based in Buckley, Flintshire, North East Wales.
Interviews take place face to face in the Buckley office.
You will travel between sites in electric vehicles.
