role summary

You will manage projects to improve places for walking, wheeling, and cycling.
You will lead teams and work with many different people.
You will help plan and deliver projects across the east of England.

key tasks

Plan and manage projects from start to finish.
Lead and support teams to work well together.
Build good relationships with landowners, local councils, and volunteers.
Organize events to involve local communities.
Help plan for the future of the National Cycle Network.
Check and report on project progress and results.
Travel to different locations for work.

skills and experience

Experience managing infrastructure projects on time and well.
Good at working with many partners like councils and community groups.
Know about walking, wheeling, and cycling paths and safety rules.
Can look at project data and explain progress clearly.
It is a plus to have experience writing bids and managing budgets.

£ pay and hours

Full time, 37.5 hours per week.
Salary is £33,265 per year (less if part time).
Flexible working hours can be discussed.

location and workplace

You will work from home and visit places in east England.
Areas include Essex, Suffolk, Cambridge, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, and Norfolk.
