key tasks

Lead four teams: digital forensics, eDiscovery (finding digital evidence), business support, and ICT services.
Manage projects to improve systems and technology used in investigations.
Keep digital forensics accredited to ISO17025, a quality standard.
Make sure work follows regulations and high standards.
Plan and develop the department’s future work and performance.
Train and support investigators and lead the department’s staff.
Represent the department at meetings and with partners.
Make important decisions about investigations and legal activity.

skills and experience

Experience leading large teams and projects.
Knowledge of digital forensics and eDiscovery technology.
Strong background in investigations and training investigators.
Good at managing tasks, solving problems, and leading under pressure.
Ability to work well with many different people.
Leadership that fits the FCA’s values and rules.
Some knowledge of legal frameworks like RIPA (Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act).
Understanding financial crime is a plus but not required.
