role summary

You will be a Hazardous Waste Officer.
You will help protect people and the environment.
You will check hazardous waste is handled safely.
This means following the Hazardous Waste (Wales) Rules from 2005.
Your work will stop harm and make waste handling better.

key tasks

Give advice about hazardous waste.
Work with people who make waste.
Check waste papers and lab reports.
Help with inspections and rules enforcement.
Work with other teams to make sure rules are fair and smart.
Help make new guides and share new information.

skills and experience

You need to know about hazardous waste.
You must have a full UK driving licence.
You must be okay with driving to many different places.
You should be good at working with others.

£ pay and hours

You will have regular work hours.
The job allows flexible and hybrid working.
Some face to face meetings or training will happen.

location and workplace

The job is in North West Wales.
You will work from an office and other places.
You will travel a lot to remote or rural areas.
