role summary

Give expert advice about energy policies in Wales.
Help the Welsh and UK Governments reduce pollution and protect nature.
Focus on energy made from land, like wind or solar farms.
Work with government and organisations involved in energy.

key tasks

Share good evidence about energy and the environment.
Build and manage relationships with Welsh Government and others.
Help make rules and plans to guide energy projects on land.
Work with teams that focus on regulation, advice, and the environment.

skills and experience

Experience in energy policy, especially about land-based energy.
Good at giving advice and working with different groups.
Able to use evidence to support decisions.
Experience in working with government is helpful.

£ pay and hours

Details about pay will be given when you apply.
Flexible working with a mix of home and office work.
Some meetings or training will be face to face.

location and workplace

You will work from a Natural Resources Wales (NRW) office.
A hybrid working pattern will be agreed with you.
Interviews will be online using Microsoft Teams.
