role summary

You will help schools in East Lothian.
You will encourage walking, cycling, and wheeling.
This is a part-time job for 18.75 hours each week.
The job lasts until 31 March 2027, maybe longer.
You can work from home when not at schools.

key tasks

Plan and run activities to promote active travel.
Work with schools, community groups, and councils.
Support and guide volunteers.
Lift and move bicycles and equipment at schools.

skills and experience

Experience working with community groups for 3 years.
Know about walking, cycling, and wheeling.
Able to lead workshops and speak clearly.
Understand how to keep children and adults safe.
Have a UK driving licence and a car for travel.

£ pay and hours

Salary is £29,835 per year full-time (part-time is less).
You will work 18.75 hours per week.
The work schedule can be flexible.

location and workplace

Work mainly in schools in East Lothian.
You can work from home sometimes.
You will travel between schools and carry equipment.
