role summary

Work with the Financial Reporting Council (FRC) Audit and Assurance Policy team.
Help set rules for audits in the UK and guide how to use technology in audits.
Support using technology like artificial intelligence (AI) to improve audits and the UK economy.

key tasks

Help write guidance on using technology in audits.
Work with audit firms, technology providers, and regulators.
Support setting UK and international auditing rules.
Work closely with others at FRC for a consistent approach.
Keep up professional knowledge and networks.

skills and experience

Must be a qualified accountant or an expert in technology and AI policy.
Good knowledge of auditing rules and technology like AI.
Good writing skills to explain complex ideas clearly.
Ability to work well with colleagues and build networks.
Creative, curious, and proactive in learning new things.
