role summary

Join our team to help protect rivers and lakes in North West Wales.
You will do lab work, office work, and field work.
Your work will help make decisions to protect the environment.

key tasks

Test freshwater samples in a laboratory.
Do surveys in different outdoor sites.
Look at environmental data and write clear reports.
Be ready to change plans if needed, like in emergencies.

skills and experience

Know how to work with freshwater samples in a lab.
Be confident working outside in different places.
Understand environmental information well.
Have a UK driving licence because you will visit remote places.
Be able to swim and work safely in water.
Be passionate about protecting freshwater.

£ pay and hours

We support flexible working hours.
You will have a fixed contract with opportunity for some home working.

location and workplace

Work mainly in North West Wales.
You will be based at the NRW office (Natural Resources Wales).
You will need to travel to different sites, some remote.
