role summary

You will collect, check and study data.
You will keep records accurate and up-to-date.
You will help make good decisions for cycling projects.
You will track investments from outside partners.
You will help improve the National Cycle Network (NCN).
This is a permanent job in England with flexible work options.

key tasks

Gather information from maps, plans, and reports.
Support studies funded by external partners.
Help manage questions about the National Cycle Network.
Make sure projects follow the right steps.
Work with the NCN team to develop new routes.
Keep all project information clear and correct.

skills and experience

Like working with details and being organised.
Good at checking data and keeping records.
Enjoy working with others and sharing information clearly.
Can decide when to ask for help with difficult tasks.
Know how to keep children, young people and adults safe.
Interested in walking, wheeling, cycling or transport planning.

£ pay and hours

Full-time, 37.5 hours each week.
Salary is £29,235 each year (less if part-time).
Flexible working hours can be discussed.

location and workplace

Based in England.
You can work from the Walk Wheel Cycle Hub nearest to you.
Meet and work with the National Cycle Network team.
