role summary

Help data team at Natural Resources Wales (NRW).
Check and work with NRW’s data and records.
Make data easier to find and use.
Support good decisions with good data.

key tasks

Work with others to find and prepare data for use.
Enter and check data carefully.
Put data into online systems like NBN Atlas and DataMapWales.
Write clear information (called metadata) about the data.
Help improve how data is stored and shared.

skills and experience

Like working carefully and producing good quality work.
Want to learn and get better at handling data.
Able to work with people across the organisation.
Driving licence is helpful because travel is needed.

£ pay and hours

This is a fixed-term job until 31 March 2028.
Working hours and pay will be given when you apply.

location and workplace

Based in NRW office in Bangor.
Work partly in the office and partly from home (hybrid working).
Regular office visits and travel to other NRW sites needed.
Some sites are hard to reach without a car.
