role summary

You will work as an engineer on projects that help people walk, wheel, and cycle safely.
You use your technical skills and creativity to solve problems.
You will work with a team of designers, engineers, and experts.
This is a permanent, full-time or part-time job with flexibility.

key tasks

Create accurate technical plans and designs.
Work with colleagues, partners, and authorities.
Help prepare project proposals to grow the business.
Manage simple projects from start to finish.

skills and experience

Degree or similar experience in civil or traffic engineering or related areas.
At least 2 years experience or 5 years working in a relevant role.
Know how to use design software like AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
Understand how to design streets safely and inclusively.
Know about health and safety rules.
Able to keep children, young people, and adults safe.

£ pay and hours

£33,265 per year full-time (pro rata if part-time).
Full-time is 37.5 hours per week.
Flexible working and job-shares are possible.

location and workplace

Work partly from home and partly at the Bristol office.
Come to the office 2 to 3 days a week.
