You will help lead the Wales Audit Office (WAO).
The WAO checks public money is spent properly in Wales.
The board has 9 members including the Auditor General and workers.
Non-Executive Members, like this job, guide and check the WAO.
The job starts in March 2027.

key tasks

Help set the WAO's goals and plans.
Make sure the WAO works well and spends money wisely.
Attend meetings 2 to 3 days each month.
Work with other board members to make good decisions.

skills and experience
