role summary

You will work as a Level 2 Security Operations Centre (SOC) Analyst.
You will help protect businesses from cyber attacks all day, every day.
You will work shifts of 12 hours, four days on and four days off.
You will use special tools to find, stop, and fix cyber security problems.

key tasks

Watch computer systems for threats and risks.
Look closely at security alerts to understand problems.
Follow rules to fix problems and prevent new ones.
Help customers and answer their questions.
Help junior team members when needed.
Write reports about security and improvements.
Keep learning and improving the team’s work.

skills and experience

Know about cyber security tools like Microsoft Sentinel and Splunk.
Understand computer networks and how attacks happen.
Know Windows and Linux computer systems well.
Stay calm when dealing with urgent security problems.
Sometimes having certificates like Microsoft or CompTIA helps but is not needed.

£ pay and hours

You will work 12-hour shifts, 4 days on and 4 days off.

Their main office is in Manchester, UK, but they have many offices worldwide.
