role summary

Lead the Security Operations Centre (SOC) team.
Watch out for cyber threats and respond to incidents.
Use Splunk Enterprise Security (a security software) to help find problems.
Help improve security and guide team members.

key tasks

Manage daily SOC tasks and support SOC Analysts.
Look for, investigate, and handle security alerts and problems.
Create and improve Splunk security reports and dashboards.
Find hidden threats and perform detailed investigations.
Work with IT and security teams to improve safety.
Help make SOC processes better.

skills and experience

Work experience in SOC or cyber security roles.
Good skills using Splunk Enterprise Security.
Able to lead security investigations and handle serious incidents.
Understand cyber threat methods and security tools.
Certifications like Splunk Cybersecurity Defence Analyst or CISSP are good but not required.
