Job Description


You will deliver proactive, personalised stewardship for those with the greatest capacity to give and support the creation of a Development Board to help secure higher‑value income for the charity. Your work will strengthen relationships and drive long‑term philanthropic growth.

Contract: Permanent
Location: Bristol – hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days a month working from the Bristol office.
Part Time 22.5 hours per week – we are happy to talk flexible working
£29,835 per annum (pro rata for part time)

About the role
Team: Fundraising and Supporter Engagement

As the Stewardship and Events Officer, you will develop a new programme of events to engage and inspire our supporters. You will deliver proactive, personalised stewardship for those with the greatest capacity to give and support the creation of a Development Board to help secure higher‑value income for the charity. Your work will strengthen relationships and drive long‑term philanthropic growth.

What You'll Be Doing

Leading the creation and project management of a new programme of stewardship events
Supporting the establishment and ongoing management of the new Fundraising Development Board.
Providing administrative support to the Supporter Care Team and the Philanthropy Team.
Monitoring compliance with fundraising regulations and data legislation in procedures.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating special moments to delight and surprise people.


About you
We're looking for someone who has experience and understanding in the areas listed below. You don't need to meet every requirement — if you feel you'd be a good fit, we encourage you to apply.

Background of working in a fundraising, supporter care, events, customer service or stewardship role within a charity or similar organisation.


Skilled in leading a project, including identifying and engaging relevant stakeholders


Proficiency in using project management software, identifying key performance indicators, delivery of the project, and reflective insight following.


Experience in managing end‑to‑end event logistics for both virtual and in‑person events, including bookings, catering, venue coordination, tech setup, attendee registrations, RSVPs, on‑site support, and post‑event follow‑up.


The ability to work in a way that promotes the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and adults at risk.
