• excellent public communication skills, with the ability to explain complex health information in an accessible way to diverse audiences, including younger women and girls.
• the ability to influence and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including government, the NHS, professional bodies, charities, patient groups and community organisations.

In addition, one or more of the following would be desirable: an effective and experienced online communicator; experience of engaging with under-represented groups and communities; and / or strong networks across the health sector, women's health charities and professional organisations.

Remuneration will be at a rate of £350 per day for a time commitment of four days per month. The Secretary of State for Health and Social Care determines the length of appointment, which may be for up to a maximum of 3 years.
