A fixed-term opportunity has arisen for a Technical Support Officer within the Species Permitting Team, part of the NRW Permitting Service.
Reporting to the Species Permitting Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting a wide range of customers applying for species permits covering a variety of species and purposes.
As the first point of contact for applicants, you will respond to enquiries, process incoming applications and support the team with day-to-day case management activities, including finance and payment administration. The team prides itself on delivering exceptional customer service at every stage of the permitting process, and you will help ensure permits are issued in a timely manner while keeping applicants informed of progress throughout.
Your contribution will be instrumental in supporting the effective day-to-day operation of the Species Permitting Team, helping to ensure we continue to provide an efficient, courteous and professional service to our customers. You will also provide general administrative support, managing personal and sensitive information accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
This role is a fixed-term position until 28/02/2027.
As an organisation we support flexible working. You will be contracted to the nearest NRW office to your home and a suitable hybrid working pattern will be agreed on appointment. Any regular face to face meetings or training will be planned in advance.
